How does it work? Guide and Tips:

The Easter event is divided in 4 phases/parts. A minigame to get eggs (+ 5 eggs to be found on the website, daily), a minigame to melt the chocolate and a final part with dialogue choices once you’re done with the outfit (traded and melt 260 eggs).

The companion for the event and its bait are available both in exploration and at the boutique.
You can play the sorting minigame 3 times a day for a total of 21 eggs daily.
You can find 5 more eggs on the website every day
Once you have 20 eggs you can play the Melting minigame to get a piece of the outfit (of 13). If you get it wrong you can re-do it for 30 maana the melting minigame can be done once per day.
You can buy extra eggs at the price of 3 gold coins each.
You can keep stockpiling eggs until you have 260 then do the melting minigame 13 times but you’ll have to pay 30 maana each time, it’s really not worth it.
Once you have all the outfit there will be another cutscene and you will have to make 3 dialogues choices. If you get one wrong you can wait a day (past midnight) to try again or pay 10 gold coins to play again immediately. When you’re done you’ll get the illustration
A second outfit can be obtained by purchasing 1500 maana or 500 gold coins at the bank (or a combination of the two with a 3:1 ratio). You won’t be able to pick the single pieces but once you have it you will be able to get more colours in the boutique.
To finish the event on day one you have to spend 780 mo to buy eggs and you will still have to play the melting minigame. 775 eggs if you look for the 5 on the website, 754 if you get all the eggs on the minigame.
You need around 4 eggs on average for each minigame you play to complete the event before the deadline. (260 eggs – 13 outfit pieces – divided by 15 minus the 5 daily eggs hidden on the website). As long as you always get 4 eggs (or an average of) and you win 5 5 times you will have enough. It means 17-18 eggs per day.

Sorting Minigame

You get a point for every egg that ends in the left bucket 0 for trash in the right one or outside the buckets and -1 for each egg in the right bucket or trash in the left one. Yes, it is possible to end up with negative points (you will get 0 eggs) When you collect the 7th eggs the minigame will stop IMMEDIATELY so don’t worry if there is still falling trash.

You can refresh the page to restart the minigame if things get sour.

Melting Minigame

My personal advice is to wait for the first 10 seconds, 20 should be enough to get to the melting points and you won’t have to keep the temperature for too long. But try and see how long it takes, then decide how much time you need. the melting minigame can be done once per day.

Companions:

You can find the new companion and its bait on exploration or you can buy it at the boutique. People have found him on exploration at the burrow, Easter plain and beach, among the others.

Outfits:

There are 2 outfits to win this year. The first one can be obtained by playing the event minigames, the second one by purchasing 500 gc or 1500 maana at the bank (or a combination of the 2 for a total of 1500 points, gc are worth 3 points, maana 1). You can’t pick the colour of the single pieces for the second outfit, but once you pick a version of it you can find the other variations on the boutique.

At the moment the only outfits available at the boutique (beside the 2019 ones) are the ones from 2018
